Rules changes for 2025

1. White port (5 player maps)

• Combines the powers of the two adjacent ports

2. Automatic wrap up when a player has run out of builds

• Very unlikely to happen

3. Seeding for matches at IV and above. Ties broken randomly.

Testing at Grades I and II

4. Desert rule amendment

• Can’t take a resource that you couldn’t produce

5. "Night" robber. Short blocks at the beginning of the game.

• When the robber is on the number rolled, the block is moved without robbing.

• 7 is played as usual.

• Sun comes up when all players have at least one build (i.e., purchase) and the regular robber is in effect.

Rejected

• Modification to the reservoir has been shelved.
